The mission of the CH-92 UAV is to conduct large-area observation and precision strikes, to be launched by a spring system or rocket accelerator, to be recovered by a parachute system or landing arresting device, and to have a fixed sled landing gear under the belly to cushion the landing. According to the designers of the China aerospace long march international trading company, China is also working on a three-wheeled landing gear layout for the uav. The CH-92 drone is much larger in size and weight than the CH-91 drone, and is primarily used for large-area observation and air-to-air attack missions.
