The Type 052D destroyer is a type of guided missile destroyer equipped by the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy. It is the latest improved type of Type 052C destroyer. .
The first Type 052D destroyer was launched on August 28, 2012, and officially joined the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy on March 21, 2014.
