The 625E integrated missile and artillery system will be publicly displayed for the first time at the Zhuhai Air Show in 2022. In addition to a real vehicle, live ammunition shooting videos of the 625E missile and artillery integrated system and another 30mm missile and artillery integrated system (CS/SA5 type) were played in a loop. The demonstration video was shot by the thermal imager that comes with the fire control system. It can be seen that the rapid-fire gun fired a large number of shells at the target aircraft in a very short time, and the target aircraft disintegrated in the air instantly.
The 625E missile and artillery integrated system is developed based on the 30mm version of CS/SA5, which is an improved and upgraded version of the latter, and the development time is between 2020 and 2021. The 625E missile artillery integrated system uses an 8X8 wheeled high-mobility chassis, which should be another variant of the ZBL-08 wheeled infantry fighting vehicle. The chassis adopts a front-engine layout, and a large-sized control room is designed next to the body-cab. The central part of the body is equipped with a large combat module (turret) that integrates Gatling machine guns, anti-aircraft missiles, and fire control systems.
