The JY-26 decimeter wave warning radar (English: Type JY-26 Warning Radar), is a newly designed ultra-high frequency (UHF) band three-coordinate radar developed by China, which adopts advanced two-dimensional digital active phase The array control system has a detection range of 500 kilometers, high measurement accuracy, strong anti-interference ability and mobility, high data transmission rate, fast speed, and anti-stealth ability.
The detection range of the JY-26 warning radar for air defense and early warning is 600 kilometers, and if it tracks ballistic missiles, it can reach 800 kilometers. The radar is operated by 10 people and can be erected within 1 hour. It can also be moved by sea and air. The Chinese military previously deployed JY-26s in Shandong and successfully detected F-22 stealth fighters operating in South Korea.
