The A100 rocket is a 300 mm, 10-tube multiple rocket launcher developed for the Chinese PLA ground forces. It is a derivative of Weishi Rockets WS-1 with simple cascade terminal inertial guidance.
The A100 300mm multiple rocket weapon system consists of a command vehicle, 4~6 launch vehicles and 4~6 bomb carrier vehicles to form a basic combat unit. The rocket launch vehicle uses the TA80 off-road vehicle as the chassis; the equipped rocket is equipped with a simple control system to ensure the accuracy of the attack, and the warhead is a dual (anti-armor, anti-personnel) sub-mother warhead.
The A100G MLRS, which configured with A120 rocket and A150 rocket, is designed to suppress, neutralize, delay, or destroy various point targets and concentrated groups of targets within a range of 40-150km. The rockets adopt full course inertial/multimode-satellite combined guidance system, and have a certain maneuverability during the flight.
